The success of the PTSA depends on the cooperation and support of its members.
Please consider joining a committee or donate an hour of your time. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. By working together, we can accomplish so much for our children.
The PTSA, plans its programs and activities to meet the needs of children and youth in the community. The strengths and success of the PTSA depends on the interest and participation of individual members. We are investing in our children’s futures by advocating for better conditions for children and families, promoting quality education and a true partnership between home and school, striving to expand the Arts, encouraging community involvement and working for a healthy environment within our school and home.
If you plan to volunteer at Spiritridge you must . . .
obtain and complete a Bellevue School District Volunteer Application. Background checks are required prior to volunteer participation at the school.
Ask for a Volunteer Form at the school's main Office
Check in at the main office, sign the volunteer roster and wear a volunteer nametag while you are at Spiritridge. Be sure to sign out so that in case of emergency the office does not have to account for your whereabouts.
Volunteer Opportunities
Please go to the "Committees" page and see if there are any activities where you might be able to help out. Contact the chair person or a boardmember and indicate your interest. If you would like to volunteer but think you don't have time or don't know how things work, please don't hesitate to contact one of the boardmembers. We will find something that will work with your interests or time schedule.
Even ONE hour can make the difference!
Your company might match your volunteer hours.
A note to Microsoft Parents:
To get time matching for your volunteer hours follow these steps:
3. The first time you use it you must request a password for your MS alias. They will send you the password by e-mail to your corporate e-mail account.
4. Once you have your password (it might take a few minutes), use your alias and password to log on.
5. After you log on, click Record volunteer hours on the left navigation menu.
You can search for Spiritridge PTSA, or simply search for Spiritridge and select the appropriate entry from the list. Click Log Hours and enter the start and end dates of your volunteer activity, and the total number of hours volunteered.
* Please note that Microsoft matches time only once every quarter, so it may take a few months for the organization to receive the money from Microsoft.
